Must admit that what's enhanced my respect for him, even more than the recent performance/sresults, is his sobriety - and even slightly downbeat tone - in recent post-match interviews. Gives me the feeling his feet are nice and heavily on the ground, which is reassuring. He knows, as we all do, there's a long way to go, and some tough teams to go to. I think a top half finish with this squad will certainly do for this season.

Never wanted Ollie to go and was decidedly lukewarm about Shteve’s appointment - there will be more ups and downs over the season so let’s not get carried away.... but feels a bit like .... we’ve got our Rangers back?

Steve has done very well to turn things around as have the players since the WBA debacle. Let's hope it continues. I didn't think Ollie deserved the sack unlike the 2 previous managers but I thought McClaren would be ok. During the spell when he was coach before we really played some excellent football which slowly dissipated when he left Harry to do his job. The play-offs are a possibility but we can't get carried away yet. One game at a time as the cliché goes. HOOPSAAAAAAaaa!!!!!

Yes respect to McClaren

Thats all.

Do not like having 27% possession though.Hope he can change that.

As proved in both games this week, possession doesn't mean a thing if you don't score.

Quite so!

I seem to recall when we had Paul Parker et al in defense we were happy to let the opposition run backwards and forwards across the pitch looking for an opening that wasn't there, until they almost inevitably lost the ball and we countered, often to good effect - the possession % would have been interesting had it been counted in those days.

You don't get any points for possession.
