Loved that run in the 2nd half, got the crowd on our feet and was whipping us to up the tempo.
Please give him more minutes Steve!

I concur, he really should be starting games. Why is it that we mere fans see these things but managers seem blind. Holloway was the same, sticking with his wingback system when it was obvious to us it wasn't working and would likely never work. In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

BOS needs to be given some time too.

Why not start both (one on each wing) and really go for Ipswich from the first whistle. Plan to bring Matt Smith on for the last 30 minutes to take advantage, and put them to the sword.

Our goal difference could really do with a helping hand.

...today he put Matt Smith on before a corner kick, guess we were already in added time...

but we almost scored as they cleared the ball off the line....

If you pursue that train of thought it would mean losing Freeman on that side and I would have him as MOTM yesterday. Juggling the players is a nice problem to have, and I agree with dropping Cousins and bringing Pawel back.

Lets see what the outcome is with the injuries to Bids and Cousins. If those two are out then I think the team moreorless picks itself with Pavel required at right back. And Angel at left back.

Maybe Furlong can come back after the international break.
Come on you Sooopa ........

Pav was brilliant when he came off the bench against Reading as well.

Let’s hope SMC can find a way to fit him into the starting lineup. He deserves more minutes on the pitch.

Ooooh watch it. Lewihoop is going to go crazy that you called him Pav!

Like the guy and should play more. I think the problem is he would need to play instead of Freeman or Eze. I don't think he should be playing as a right back

My preferred 4-3-1-2 line-up right now for home games at least.

Lumley
Rangel Lynch BFG Bidwell
Pav Luongo BOS/Smyth
Freeman
Eze Wells

Subs Ingram, Cameron, Hemed, Cousins, Baptiste, Smith (unfortunately no place for Scowen)

Width, pace, and attacking intent - what's not to like?

...have to find a spot for Cameron...he has been brilliant and I guess he has to be in the starting 11......and we have to know how long Bidwell will be sidelined....

Pawel does add something as an impact sub,but

1. Pace on the ball is insufficient to get to the byline
2.Therefore tends to turn back with the ball.
Therefore whoever comes in behind ends up having to cross, unless he can cross with his left foot which he cannot.
Ideally this should be done as soon as a defender gets near him
3.He is a confidence player-sometimes his first touch is awful.

As fans we really have to give an honest appraisal of his abilities....

Nothing good to say about him then?

Newsflash!

We are not Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester City. So, we can't afford to buy a player with all of those attributes.

As for now .... Pav will do for me.

...??..?? His first touch is awful...?

...go to 0:49 in the clip below and look carefully at his first touch...
I would like to know how many players wearing the hoops can manage to control that ball as he did...
