Beat me to it RBee - if the likes of Cameron, Luongo and Cousins can get through the legwork in midfield and free up Freeman and Eze to support Wells, we have a chance to compete today.

Well I do the best match threads Dev

All depends if we are on our game today, if Derby are on theirs, who deals best with the conditions.

I always remember turning up to a home game about twenty years ago on a day like today, I think we were playing Crewe. The look on some of the players faces in the wind and rain during the pre match warm up, especially Keith Rowland, you could just tell that they were not up for it.

Terrible game, lost 0-1.

Wells clips the crossbar.

Bidwell off with a shoulder injury. Cousins takes over at right back, Wszolek on.

0-1 HT: another 45 minutes with one just shot on target (according to BBC) and no goals.
Will SMc ever try wingers and pace?

I'm keeping everything crossed for Wells. He badly needs a goal to give him and the rest of the team some belief.

Good, energetic display. We looked fit today. Shame that there is another international break coming up.

Good point against a decent side. Really hope Wells gets a goal soon, or it's going to start playing on his mind. The rest of his game is excellent, and that's the difference between him and CW. Now we have a break, would it be an idea to give him a run out in the stiffs(or whatever they are today) - and hope he can find his goalscoring touch. Been a good week :D

All in all a good performance especially considering the Bidwell injury. Derby are a decent team and looked likely to get the winner although we too could have snatched it right at the end. Wells needs a goal badly. What happened to the ref the last twenty minutes - he seemed to fall apart ?

Did we even get a foul from the Bidwell tackle? Hope he's alright.

Thought we were quite good second half and in fact the only time I thought we were not very good defensively was the Derby Goal.

Two things, the ref was flipping awful.

Also we bad the worst pitch invader I've ever seen today....

Good point... not enough Lampard abuse.
