Come on guys , we've got 50 and 60 year old grown men constantly having a dig at each other on this forum. Nothing wrong with discussing different opinions but it is starting to put me off even coming on here any more with all the childish personal accusations flying around. We are one fan base and all, I am sure, have the clubs best interest at heart. Lets focus on an important game this afternoon!

Only time will tell if it works for Conor this time round - now at a club doing fairly well in the division - as someone else said, has worked with a few managers here and not found a solution to his game at this level.

Worked hard but not taken his opoorunities and won't be going down as a successful transfer story for the club.

He will still never be as bad as Mark Hately. He is more of a Sammy Koejoe or a Christer Warren.

Some of them have pretty much hit the nail on the head. Quick, hard working and a great first touch seemed to be the general consensus.

It did make me smile when they start commenting on him getting his head on the end of crosses and being an aerial threat though!

They mention “ pulling the ball out of the air “ he did this a few times for us, eye-catchingly bringing a highish ball under control and moving on with it. He was not without skill but somehow he couldn't put everything together to turn in a good performance.

Lots of comments about an early goal to get his confidence up. Exactly my thoughts after his brace on the opening day of last season. Here we go I thought ... It was nearly 2 months later when he scored his next goal, and a month later when number 4 arrived. All told, he scored 6 last season from 24 starts and 9 subs appearances.

I wish him well, but I'm not sure those same Sheffield fans wont be saying the same as us in just a few months time.

Score in a brothel comes to mind.
