That's generous! Exactly how did we as a club fail Mr Washington as a footballer? I'd say he was given many opportunities to hoist himself by his own petard. He could have played another 100 games for us, and I doubt whether he'd have got in double figures as a goalscorer.
There you go yet again, having a pop at the club. If anything it was CW that failed QPR, but it was more a case I guess of the lad not being the right fit here. He's a good footballer but maybe a division lower.
You're clearly obsessed with misreading me, or just not very bright, or both. I was ASKING THE QUESTION (sarcastically, rather obviously) as to how we did (read DIDN'T) fail Washington, who had many opportunities, as my image indicated, to prove himself.

Never mind . . .

Taken from a SUFC forum re Conor.... what is it with the majority of football fans dissing their own club..

quote: "First post - He’s shit.

Next post - Can’t believe we’ve only given him a 1 year contract. The manager, club and board are shit.

He was banging in the goals for his country and Peterborough so I understand us buying him. I think he got found out at Championship level. Can't fault his work rate or attitude. It just didn't wotk out here.

I thought the call up was after we signed him?
Anyway, watch the Soccer am You Know The Drill @ Peterborough. He looked sharp, but listen to Westley praising him. I just think he was a confidence player and we couldn't afford him that much attention when the rest of the squad also needed so much work

Read his post again: he's not having a go at the club.
Of course he is!

You're something else, Krama - you can't even admit (let alone apologise) when you're wrong! (Being possessed as you are by your own 'I can't wait to have a pop at Stainrod' compulsion, never mind me and QPR.)

I guess my being your doppelganger or whatever I am for you is some kind of mildly entertaining/annoying reverse compliment.

His NI goal scoring success is pure myth. In 2016/7 he played 12 competitive games for NI and scored a single goal... He’s gash for club and country.

He hadn't scored for us since February (Wolves away). His total return was 6 for the season in 2017/18 (including 2 in the opener against Reading).

Worked hard, but his goal return should have been much higher.
