ELPHICK - Loan

Post by guyrob07 » Wed Aug 29, 2018 4:31 pm

Yes please.

QPR WANT ELPHICK

Sky sources understand QPR are hoping to solve their problems in defence with the season-long loan signing of Tommy Elphick from Aston Villa.

Rangers kept their first clean sheet of the season against Wigan last Saturday but had previously conceded 13 goals in their first four games.

Elphick, 30, won the Championship title as Bournemouth captain in 2015 but made just 31 appearances for Villa since joining in 201.

He had a spell on loan at Reading last season, making four appearances.

Did very well for Bournemouth, especially in the Championship, but has struggled to get a regular place at Villa. Loan at Reading was affected by injury.
Solid enough at this level but has a few errors and sending offs in him.

Don't we all. He's only human. That also applies on the pitch as a footballer, he will make errors. 8)

I was hoping for Danny Baath now he seems out of favour at Wolves. :-(

Elphick is off to Hull.
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!
