I heard about this on Saturday and yes, it is a lovely heartwarming tale.

Anyone know either of the guys involved? Either personally or through the various on-line forums, such as this one.
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

Back in my days of being a bit of a “ weekend hippy “, I knew a bloke who thought the Sgt. Pepper album would stop the war in Vietnam.
I often wonder what happened to him. He certainly wasn't a Rangers fan. Or any other team come to that.
