Ah, the perennial debate about whether or not change a winning team for a cup game against lower league opposition.

Sadly it's a lost cause. The manager will make changes, as pretty well every team in the top 2 divisions does these days. The received wisdom is that we "must" rotate the squad / gives youngsters a chance / allow players recovering from injury game time etc.

It's been this way for years and no amount of complaining seems to make any difference. Little wonder the crowds are so pitiful across the board.

The club(s) have only themselves to blame.
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

No doubt tonight's attendance will be 'pitiful'. It won't seem like that for the Bristol Rovers fans, however. I read elsewhere that they have already sold 1,700 tickets, so they could have a noisy night out. Well done to them for the support, but, I hope that they are soon silenced. Onward to Round 3.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

That's true, kernowhoop. The two clubs haven't played each other in a long time, and I guess as well as an opportunity to potentially beat a team from the Championship, it will be a new ground for quite a few of their fans.

To be honest, had we been drawn away, I would have gone, as it would be a new ground for me too. As it is, I'll give it a miss.

Must keep Wells and Hemed in if only to gain match fitness and settle into the side imo.

Looks good, but I am not sure about Wells starting and Wells being on the bench! (maybe Lynch in his place for defensive cover)...I agree with that by and large, but I think momentum is important. We need a win so maybe Bidwell in for Hamalainen.
