On a podcast I listened to recently (quickly Kevin, do you think he’ll score) they interviewed the guy who created football manager, and apparently their player stats are so accurate that the database is used by football clubs and scouts when researching players. So may not be as bad a source as you think.deadendjob wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 7:14 pmSeems like this could be a good signing for us. Strange he wasn't on the radar of any news outlets.
Looked him up on Fifa and he's ranked 75 overall - which - although it's merely the rankings for a computer game - put in comparison with out other players; would make him our best player.

On LFW a poster commentated on our new signing bearing a strong resemblance to their chiropractor and I think that would make a great nickname for him; someone who can re-arrange bones Other fans would also be completely puzzled as to why he is called that too LOL. It's similar to Valentino Rossi in Moto GP being called The Doctor and not many people know why.

I've not seen him play but i've heard some positive comments. UB are a decent side (who underperformed a bit last year) in a decent enough league from what i can tell. He's got the physical attributes and German CBs are usually technically good. All in all, an exciting signing, on paper at least.

I asked a football fan colleague in Hamburg who supports St Pauli so really knows this level, about this transfer and he said:-
Sounds very positive. That guy is a fantastic defender. As far as value is concerned he was at sixth place in second league in Germany. We usually check players out here. You know this site?

Gives you heaps of information and what you can see there should make you happy.
Seems QPR has a crush on Union Berlin somehow.
This time we'll get it right - just believe!
