'And the Mirror say Derby are hoping to remove him from their wage bill by moving him to QPR.'

Surely if Derby are trying to get rid of his wages...we've got no chance of signing him!

Taking him off their wage bill and receiving £4M will be a good deal for them

I spluttered in my ale when I read of this. A few weeks back, I was looking forward to the new season. Now, I feel the old familiar trepidation sweeping over me.

Jesus Pubs Ale I’m starting to get quite jealous with your alcohol intake & social life.

Cheaper to get a wardrobe from Ikea, no salary, just a one off payment, and a lot more agile. Poor mans Grant Holt and he was a cünt too.

If Chris Martin is deemed good enough by SMC for QPR that's fine by me. SMC knows the lad and is the manager and expert. Fans know nothing compared with SMC.

He scores about 1 goal in every 4 games.

So, we could see about 12 goals a season at that rate.

That would have made him our leading goal scorer last season.

Just saying.

Yeah but it has all gone down hill since Parachutes.
Question everything.

Haha, but it's true though isn't it, no one can argue with that! :)

I think you'll find they can, and if we sign Chris Martin, they will.

We're not big fans of "the manager's the expert" mantra around here

Matt Smith scored 1 goal in every 2 games last season.

Play him for 46 games & that would make him our leading goal scorer on 23.

Smith got 11 last season a goal every 187mins.

Just saying

I know Ux...that's because a lot of football fans, not just of QPR, genuinely believe, without any doubt, that they know better than the manager. Everyone is an expert....not!
