Now if I’m not mistaken, wasn’t Finbogason who’s playing up front for Iceland today, once someone we were close to signing?

We looked at Bodvarsson a couple of years ago and Sigthorsson before that but not sure about Finbogason.

..yeah...I think at that time he was playing in Holland (Heerenveen)...

Kolbeinn Sigþórsson was that one that was linked with us several times.
Otherwise we were linked with Böðvarsson who ended up joining the fake hoops

So fascinating how the surnames for men in Iceland are your dads name with son on the end.

Woudnt really work in this country.
