dreams of QPR

Post by stainrod's elbow » Fri Jun 01, 2018 4:01 pm

I do have occasional dreams of watching and actually playing for QPR (sometimes it even ends well), but last night dreamed Ollie was the new Dr Who, and I was in the frame as his assistant! Also had a lovely chat with Sarah Jane Smith, aka the late Liz Sladen, who I realise I had a bit of a crush on.

I know IH's selections and decisions were sometimes seen as from another dimension, but that's a bit of a career shift!

Do any other dotorgers ever encounter Rangers in the metaphysical championship?

I dreamt I played for England the other night it was the World Cup final 1-1 v Argentina, 90th min Rashford crosses it in to me I coudnt get on the end of it, it hit the post and Aguero tapped it into the same goal. (Very f*cked up I know)

They won 2-1 I was gutted.

I once dreamt the night before we played Norwich that Adel would miss a pen, low & behold the next day he misses a pen.

I’ve dreamt of playing at qpr a few times but for some reason it’s a tennis ball we’re playing with, also I can’t shoot for sh*t it’s like I’m paralysed.

I had a dream once that I got married in front of the loft - the officiant was Sir Les Ferdinand, who was stood in the goalmouth. When Les asked if anyone knew why there was any reason why the couple couldn't get married, the Loft sang in unison " The Bridegroom is a w*nker". The intended bride then ran down the tunnel crying and I was facing the loft on my own. So I then turned around and did 'around the pole' and fell over as I hit the ball.

No idea what that means, but one of those dream analysers would have had a field day with that.

Could the cry of the Loft have been a simple statement of fact, i.e. the groom was, and perhaps is, a real-life onanist?

Did they then also cry 'you fell over, you fell over'?

I'm not necessarily a professional, but that going 'round the pole' business has definite phallic connotations. :D

PS Did you marry her?

Glad I’m not the only one...

I rarely dream, but when I do, it’s almost always QPR related!
