If it's true someone has offered 4 mill then we've lost him. Our younger players will have to be our salvation. FFP has killed us.
Why is £4m impossible to turn down? Tell them NO THANKS.
I know that and you know that but it seems our management team are incapable of getting a good deal and would be frightened of someone waving a balloon on a stick

But Blackburn? Not sure he’d even want to. Hardly moving upwards...
Unless they make him an offer he couldn't refuse ££££££££

..get to 6M and let him go.....very good player but sometimes too selfish, playing more for his own than for the team....

Opens the door for Ilias Chair if he goes so win, win.

Yes but I think more probably Smyth would replace him in the current set up.

..yes , we have some good fast creative players in BOS, Chair, Smyth....and though I like Freeman I might let him go if we get a good offer, and I really mean a GOOD offer, not peanuts.... we still need instead a good striker and a CB...

Chair has played less than half a dozen games for us and looks promising but it's ridiculous to suggest he could replace Freeman with his lack of experience.

You won't be surprised but I disagree and completely agree with White Duck.

Agreed. It's a difficult one for the club as £4m+ is a decent price for a player signed for £350k 18 months ago. But to lose a player with as many assists as Freeman to a team we're likely to be close to in the table at the end of the season would potentially be a big loss. There's nobody else in the squad likely to create as many chances.

Hmmm... Venkys of course, and will be one of the teams we would need to finish above this season.

If, and it's a very big if, the Rangers are confident in using any money from a possible Freeman transfer to fund the signing of a half decent CB and striker in the next, what is it, 17 hours then I go along with it. What's the expression ? If pigs could fly bacon would go up.

Freeman through the season, especially at home, will turn a few losses in to draws and draws in to wins.

Selling him will be a gamble on the season.

Perhaps the club have done their sums, not selling Freeman might take us over the Profitability and Sustainability Rules threshold and the fine would be more expensive than relegation.

Well it opens up the opportunity for 46-48 more games. Even Rodney Marsh once had less than 10 games under his belt.
