Two true predictions before that game.

Mate next to me 100% says Zamora is scoring the winner today I said he ain’t playing he said don’t care he’s scoring the winner.

I said to him red card today, dunno why just felt it in my water.

Still to this day can’t believe both happened.

It was a fantastic day but it missed a bit of raw emotion for me. Maybe it had to do with the surroundings of soulless Wembley stadium or us going back to the big time and becoming one of them.
I had much more raw emotion when we, as a club united, and rose from the ashes with Holloways blue and white army at Hillsborough.
Fenwicks equalizer for the underdog at the old Wembley brought tears to my eyes.

Our play off final against Derby was great with a happy ending but didn't feel as big a deal as the above mentioned. It could be age of course...

Then there was Cisse's winner against Stoke - the Stoke fans said afterwards they had never heard any stadium anywhere erupt with noise like that...

Cisse may have had one or two loose wires, but, he knew where the goal was.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

For me you’ll never beat arriving at Shepard’s bush green 8am, 10 of us beers in hand getting lashed up with the tramps, all in suspense on the Faurlin points deduction.

Walking about the bush all morning buzzing with blue & white every where, outside the Coningham getting news of no points deduction THE R’s are going up!!! THE R’s are going up!!!

Best day ever lashed up, put the bush to a stand still all day & night, what tourists or any poor bastard non qpr must have thought that day I don’t know.

I remember getting home about 10.30pm brother in could barely walk, screaming down our road the r’ss Are going up & now your gonna believe us, flags in hand.

Jumped straight in the pool fully clothed lucky not to drown, paddy Kenneys having a party bring your vodka & your Charlie.

That day outweighed any years of sh*t we’ve had as qpr fans 10 fold.

Oh and that’s when I used to drink, these days it would more likely be a light and respectful hip hip hooray walking down the Uxbridge road :D

He didn't realize when he bought the tickets that this is the same day as his wedding - so he can't go. If you're interested and want to go instead of him: It's at St James's Church in Bootle at 3pm. Her name is Susan. She will be the one in the white dress.
....any more details about her Bank account....car...properties....etc etc..?

Thanks Giorgio.
I never did understand why that goal got so little coverage.

Better than Gareth Bale the other night IMO. Nobody else would have dreamed of trying that, let alone pull it off. Shame it was down the far end of the ground from us, as we didn't get much of a view and were stunned to see the ball hit the back of the net and the goal given.

I remember us three all (probably) thinking "oh no, he's had a shot... fücking hell,it's gone in!" It looked a worldy at the time but it was only when we got home and I saw all the replays etc. that I realised just how special it was.
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.
