Every day is today... I rarely take any notice of what he has to say.

New Assistant Manager... Today
errm tomorrow should have said...or is it always "today" time to stop listening to Dave Mc I think
He’s pretty well connected and has always been reliable in the past.

Expect an announcement to be made imminently.

Was a solid player, appears to have done quite well at kidderminster. On paper a very good appointment.

Always thought good competitor in midfield with a quality touch and decent vision - badly hampered with injuries - interesting to see what he brings to proceedings.

He looks well 'ard as they say, or maybe that's what he wants us to think?

Judging by our new manager's statement, one of the main factors seems to be that the guy knows him and agrees with him - but I guess that's often the way with these appointments. All being well, he's not just a 'yes man' if things go pear-shaped. Quite a young fella, and an unknown quantity at this level, so he'll have to sink or swim - let's hope it's the latter!

It looks like Bircham's out the door now, though has this been officially confirmed? (I'm guessing the club won't be using the 's' word.)

In McClaren we trust, I guess. Hopefully he knows what he's doing.

It may be that SMC is mentoring him to take over when his two years is up? A sustainable model :-O

Seems a strange appointment for AM but hey, lets hope this is part of Schteve's strategy and not down to budget constraints.
It's a massive leap from Kidderminster.

Yep, nothing official but looking very likely now.

A real shame. Some may say otherwise, but having true QPR people involved with the club is never a bad thing.

Will be very sorry to see him leave, as I was with Holloway.

There are still quite a few like Ferdinand, Furlong, Sinton, Impey etc.

If performances are average and tactics are, at times, questionable then I believe it can be a bad thing to have true QPR people involved at the club.

I never got the Bircham appointment so I'm not bothered if he leaves. Plus he has a Millwall tattoo so there's got to be some debate about his true leanings.
