That's a relief.
They'll be QPR players by the end of next week then

Once again the same as last season it’s not who comes through the door that we should be worried about it’s who goes out the door.

With the likes of Robinson,Freeman,Scowen,Luongo,Smyth,Oteh,Eze,Manning,Smithies etc

Shteve supposed to be the monkey nuts in the coaching dept & tactics I reckon keep the above and we could improve big time on last season.

The chances of keeping the squad together though is wishful thinking.

And, for anyone that was worried that we might have ended up with another big lump - Grant Holt, now with Barrow - as a new striker  ,that looks unlikely, too. I have just read that he has signed a deal to become a professional wrestler. For him, a smooth transition to a new career?
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

I recall he was pretty adept at taking a fall.

Looking at the experienced CB at the right price conundrum; what about Danny Batth? 27, didn't play in the Wolves side hardly last season and definitely won't be first team material next season. Always looked like a commanding player whenever he played against us.
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

Up until Holloway left I was absolutely certain that Delaney would be coming back... Still think he could be a decent signing for us?

We could get a few experienced players from Sunderland for probably under a mil. Djilobodji, McGeady, Oviedo, McManaman, Cattermole and Ruiter would be ok.

Otherwise young Paddy McNair looks class when he's not injured

With our low salary offers and short term prospects I doubt we will be attracting many decent experienced players, so Mr Penrice it's time to reveal what's up your sleeves!

Yeah they did really well for Sunderland over the last two years, we should snap them up.

I definitely wouldn’t want to see Cattermole in a QPR shirt.

If things don’t change in the next 10 minutes .... there could be a fire sale at Villa over the summer.

Cattermoles an absolute mug, I'll give you that, but I'm not suggesting we sign all of them. They're experienced players who've played at a decent level and would likely be affordable for us.
Judging by your logic we'd never sign any experienced players because their team had had a few poor seasons. There's more wrong behind the scenes with the mackems than the quality of players.

Interesting fact from the Play Off final. Aston Villa started with eleven players who had previously played at Wembley, Fulham had none.

I get that we need to add a little experience to our squad but let's not go crazy.
