I imagine a lot of things are up in the air at the moment; if there are new owners coming in there may be a better offer on the table?

However much cash any new owners might have they will still be restricted by FFP. Which is why all of the reports in the papers this morning linking us with Jermaine Defoe are highly likely to be untrue.

Seen a picture on Twitter of JR with Sean Goss and Ashley Fletcher in Vegas - maybe JR will see Schteve as someone who can help him develop further - same with Goss?

Either that or he will still hang out for a free transfer and nice signing on package somewhere.

I really wish there was some closure on this one way or another.
