Warren Farm

Post by ZENITH R » Sun Apr 22, 2018 6:38 pm

By my reckoning the 28 day period for any last appeals is up. So, can the diggers start moving? Can we at last look forward to state of the art training facilities for the 21st century?

Midnight last Friday was the cut off so sometime tomorrow morning we can hope the club has an announcement.

I wonder how the objectors are financing the legal work? That sort of thing does not come cheap.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

How many more knockbacks? These kind of things are just a pain. Hopefully they’ll be thrown out.

Is there any sanction a court can apply if they feel there is a frivolous appeal.

Anyone any idea how long this one will take?

My understanding is they could only appeal on a point of law, not appeal because they object don't like the decision.

Do we know what the point of law is they are challenging?

This is like running through a muddy bog in wearing wellies filled with cold porridge.

Genuinely surprised...
Jesus Christ. They're just delaying the inevitable. Honestly, I'm not sure what the issue is - it's a desolate area in serious need of refreshing.

The club have said that they will appeal within 14 days against the appeal to try to prevent it going to Supreme Court.

You'd like to think so but the legal system is full of idiots so anything could still happen....

The only certainty is there will be a lot of lawyers, barristers etc making exorbitant amounts of money as this is dragged our further.

If our appeal against their appeal fails there has to be some substance to their appeal. In that case, not to say they will win in the end, however a little worrying to say the least.
