Pitch invasion for last game.
Copied from LFW.
"Greetings From Brum on 11:56 - Apr 16 by Northernr
QPR would like to sell both tiers but police/local authority have told us we can't because of trouble caused by Birmingham fans last time they were down here.
Incidentally police and local authority have also threatened QPR with a fine up to £50,000 and a reduced capacity (first two rows fenced off all the way round) at the final game of next season if we invade the pitch at full time."

That all seems reasonable. If the stewards and police use a bit of intelligence hopefully they can concentrate on where a pitch invasion is likely to come from. Rather than spreading themselves out evenly they should concentrate on where it looks like one or two might run on. I hope there isn't an invasion.
Come on you Sooopa ........

Sadly it doesn't matter if you warned the consequences to the fans.... There are still some who will try to run on the pitch at full-time...
2017/2018.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

Should I bring one of my bows and a few dozen arrows?

That'll be fine. Try and get a soft drinks bottle in with the lid intact though, and it's a 10 year ban.

LOL. At THAT game at the Emirates I had a four pack of soft drinks in plastic bottles and was stopped going in by one of the stewards. I said would it be OK if I drank one and he said yes so I did. I went to go in and said what about the others, I just laughed and said I'll need those to piss in after drinking that one so quick. He just smiled and said go on mate. I guess at my age I don't look like I would pose much of a threat.

...com'n ...there is an easy solution....just dig a deep ditch all around the pitch, fill it with water and hungry crocs....
then raise an electrified fence (340V)....and if not enough tase whoever dare crossing the said defences...

Or .... lose the game and the majority of the over excitable supporters will have left the stadium and those remaining won't want to invade the pitch

Brought to mind that charmer Ken Bates' electric fence idea for Stamford Bridge. (Didn't realise - whisper it - he was actually an Rs supporter as a kid.) Pity a certain alleged rapist centre back's testicles never got toasted on it!

Re: Pitch invasion for last game.
I would have thought a better strategy would be to allow home supporters only on the pitch for 15 minutes after the players have gone off at the end of the game. They could then be cleared off the pitch for the players to come back on for the lap of 'appreciation' (silly name).
A simple management of expectations that controls the crowd but doesn't spoil people's fun. What's not to like?

Re: Pitch invasion for last game.
Strong rumours flying about up here that Blues fans are looking to get in among the home fans as their allocation is only for the top tier after the nonsense last season.

You mean the lower loft where all the kids who have never been on the pitch and will get a real buzz out of it sit!old pauline wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 12:07 pmThat all seems reasonable.
