When was the last. Time we put past someone.
Couldn't believe we were 3 up when I checked the score this morning
Jesus I sound like I was drunk.
The first line should be:

"When was the last time we put 4 passed someone?"
Er - wasn't it a week before vs Norwich?

I think Sylla does offer us more mobility and better link up play outside the box than Matt Smith. He’s much better at the sort of closing down Ollie likes and I’ve never bought into the “lazy” label people attach to him.

But it feels uncharitable to criticise Smith’s heading style or prowess given that his input has led to him being our top scorer and second highest assist provider (only two fewer than freeman who is or at least was the top assister in the league). Smith also has the most headed goals in the division.

Sylla’s link up play is better outside the box, but Smith’s is better inside it, which is obviously a key area. Aside from the goal (which was obviously important) Sylla didn’t look that much of a threat inside the box last night.

In short, they’re quite different players and I think there’s got to be space for both of them unless we bring in some new quality which seems unlikely.
