Great comeback and a very good second half display. We are starting to create a very decent first team. Onwardsand upwards!
We probably deserved to win that. For the first time for a long while, I am seeing something on the pitch that fills me with confidence. I think we learned a lesson from the end of last season - and I can't see that happening again.

Better team over the ninety minutes.

I wonder if the last two games have given our owners some food for thought. If not it should. It would be a shame for this squad to be broken up.

Great performances from the whole team, including the subs. New and Lynch very solid indeed.

Wzolek MOTM for me, surprised Sky gave it to Freeman who I thought has played better in a lot of matches.

It would be a shame but we have good players coming through and Im confident Penrice will produce some gems.

I still think Smithies, Mass, Washington, Sylla and Freeman will be sold with Robinson, Chief, Perch, JET, Kakay and Mackie leaving at the end of their deals.

In Penrice we trust.

Yeah, i missed that Freeman was decent enough but didn't grab the game by the scruff. I'd have given it Pawel too. His final ball wasn't always the best but on his less favoured side. he worked his bollocks off both ends of the pitch, gave them something to think about and took his chance.

What was odd, was how little we used the right flank, it seemed to work but was unusual to say the least.

Few others ahead of Freeman for me as MOTM.

How about Smithies save when Mitrovic was through - great composure and choice to come out and then delay.

It looks like the attacking intent we used to see when Ramsey was manager has been re-introduced now he is assisting IH & MB but with a better all round team set up. Very impressive displays (bar Forest) since he has been helping the first team.
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

So that's nine players in or near the first team going at the end of the season. Don't fancy our chances

Excellent performance. Feels like a win actually and in fact we should have
won that match by 2 clear goals.

If we had 2 mobile and competent strikers, this team could go far.

I was just about to post exactly the same thing. Freeman was well below par in this game.

That's a lot of trust! I'm loving the look of the players coming through but we'd really struggle to deal with those loses. It's inevitable but i don't think we could absorb that in one transfer window without being f****d. I really want us to keep Sylla, i really think he'd flourish in this new system. He played earlier in the week, so hopefully back soon.

I think the team would take a hit with all those players going - wonder if Ned will be kept - most affinity with the team/club.

I can see offers coming in for Smithies - Warnock for sure if Cardiff go up, and think we would lose one of Mass or Freeman but, not both.

I understand Wet Spam are very keen on Smithies but if any Prem club are looking for a 'keeper we'll lose him. Just be grateful we've retained him for so long. I think Ned will stay but given our parlous financial position we have to accept that we will lose a few this summer. FFP is killing us despite the encouraging displays of late.

I think Sheepy is probably right about Robinson, Perch, JET and Mackie as their contracts are all up.

We must expect Smithies, Freeman and Luongo to be looked at by some of the top Championship sides, and possibly those relegated from the Prem. Onuoha too may be tempted by an offer or two but I have a feeling we keep him.

Kakay and a whole slew of U23s are on contracts ending in the summer and it's normal to see a number not given a further year or two.

Hopefully the young guns who have done so well in recent games will be left alone by other clubs. They've all got longer contracts with the exception of Oteh who I expect will be offered a new one.

We cant do much about Robinson and Chief if we cant afford them. From the list of those to sell only Smithies, Mass and Freeman will be missed and we have plently of midfielders coming through and Ingram is highly rated. We'll fine and midtable next season with cash in the bank and a lower wage bill is whats needed. Doubt we could generate more than £15m in sales.
