Just coming back

Post by dm » Sat Mar 10, 2018 5:32 pm

Not a game that will live long in the memory but great to see Eze get his debut goal.

Very little else to get excited about I'm afraid.

True. We seemed to have a bit of an off day. Eze was a bright spot, but I think Bidwell or Luongo were MoM for me.

The Sunderland fans seemed good humoured, albeit of a "gallows" variety, and finally I thought the ref and officials had a very good game

eze for me as mom, thought he controlled the midfield brilliantly, nice to not have to over rely on freeman

Very much an off day: but in saying that, really liking what Eze brings to the side. Really good control, takes on players etc. Exciting to see how he develops.

The prospect of kids like Eze, Osayi-Samuel and Smyth progressing and giving us options next season is an exciting one. Feels like progress is being made.

I'm liking what I'm hearing about these young uns. They will need time and patience to really develope into the players we all hope they can become. Wouldn't it be nice to slow the Fulham bandwagon down too. 8)

Another performance where we couldn't break them down until there was a red card? :?

I think they could have cut back on them a bit so we could have seen more of the second half :D

Missed the game today due to the recent arrival of a brand new little super hoop in the family!

Thanks for posting the highlights. I’d seen Eze had scored but i hadn’t read anywhere that it was such a good goal!

Things are definitely moving in the right direction, which is a great achievement given the financial constrictions. Very happy tonight!

It would be nice if they'd checked how to spell Eze's first name.
