Get in Mass - could we kick on to get all 3 points?

We're creating chances, just not able to convert.
Our much vaunted strikeforce of Smith, Washington and Sylla( I know injured) do it again!

Well done Massimo :D

Not too bad tonight. Win against Sunderland this weekend and we should be completely safe.

Good that we got the point, but giving a head start keeps the questions about Holloway coming.

By the way Millwall (who have a smaller budget than us) have just won their 5th away game
on the spin.
I'm not asking for heads to roll right now but we do have a managerial problem.

Happy with a point and some encouraging performances from our young guns, Smyth, Furlong and Eze.

Who claimed our strike force to be "much vaunted"?

We battered Derby in the second half, unlucky not to win. If Holloway gets two or three quality additions there is no reason we couldn't have a tilt at the playoffs next season.

With our cack-handed recruitment over the past couple of seasons, you think we can actually get
a couple of competent forward men?

A good point and good performance which will hopefully breed confidence for Saturday.

Couldn't agree more.

Great to see fan off their seats as Smyth goes down the wing. Very impressed with Eze and solid game by Furlong.

Sad to hear Washington getting cheered off. Songs of Keogh one of our own should have been directed at Smyth. But there you go..

Wasn't there (and our 'just backs' seem to have died a death in recent times), but it sounds like Smithies kept us in it with more miracle-making at 0-1, while 4 efforts on target from 21 goal attempts tells its own story. Mass gets us out of jail with one of his rare goals with three mins to go, and it sounds like we more than deserved it on the balance of play, but our continued difficulties at landing punches (let alone knock-out blows) on our opponent is ongoingly disquieting.

If anyone has access to that goals scored/chances created ratio, I'd be interested to see it, as I'm sure we'd be damn near the bottom. Washington's 13 goals in 84 games must be about the worst scoring record for QPR strikers in living memory (interestingly, almost exactly identical to the final figures of a certain Bobby Zamora (who actually scored against Derby in a tuppenny hapenny tussle at Wembley, if memory serves). Perhaps he could quit while he's, er, behind. Meanwhile, Smith will only just about nudge double figures if he's lucky, and Sylla's permanently injured, half-arsed, or both.

Relieved to get a point after the Forest debacle, but the meh factor rumbles on.

I think our recruitment over the last two seasons has been pretty good. Much better than the few years previous (although that's not saying much)
