Cardiff are only six points behind Wolves now - they must have a decent manager. whistle

I hope if Cardiff go up they'll stick with Mr Warnock unlike a certain club in West London when they went up !

For goodness sake let it go boys.

I fully understood why Neil got the sack and if he had stilll been in charge would we have beaten Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs at home?

Neil is one of the best ever Championship Managers but has never done it in the league above.

...it looks that there are two managers in this division that know how to get to the top....
on is at Cardiff, the other one is at Derby.....get them on board and you see the result....

It's very hard to ignore them sitting there at the top when Ferdinads thought Hassleplank was a better option. Unforgiveable in my book.

Quite, there's a lot of revisionism on this board, plenty felt action was required to keep us up (which we managed). It was probably on the balance of things a bad idea, but the fact we did a poor job replacing him, doesn't alter the fact he wasn't doing a great job. I wouldn't have let him near the cheque book again though, which i suspect would have made his long-term future untenable.

Apparently he (Neil Warnock) has already said IF Cardiff go up, he wouldn't want to manage them next season.

He got us promoted after 15 odd years out of the big time, he had no pre season he had players in the exec boxes two days before kick off trying to sign them, we started with a shambles on and off the field thanks to Flabio & the dwarf.

And to top it off we wasn’t even in the drop zone when they sacked him, they showed no loyalty (granted the word doesn’t exist in football) but I thought they would have showed it with Neil.

Hughes comes in & we survive, would we have under Neil who knows but look what happened after he left & look how Hughes turned out.

For me we should never have sacked him even if we had gone down with his track record of working wonders in the championship we could have kept the squad together regrouped and gone again.

It hurts more when you see the miracle he performed at Rotherham & now Cardiff, if we had of kept him & the squad together im sure he would have got us back up that’s even if we got relegated in the first place, for me he was wronged I could go on all day about it I love Warnock, but hey just my opinion on the fella and the situation on him leaving qpr.

“We could have kept the squad together, regrouped and gone again.”

Off the top of my head that squad would have been missing Helgusson, Derry, Taarabt so I would doubt we would have bounced back up again.

Why would it of been missing those three & what about the jan signings Cisse & co.

And what if just if we didn’t go down in the First place?

If we had been relegated we signed Austin and co the following season, Warnock would have won the division at a canter, he’s doing it now with our rejects & Mathew Connolly for Christ sake.
