Scores Rangers 3rd in last night's 4-1 away win over St Johnstone

From the BBC:

"Goss stepped up to sweep the ball into the corner of the net."

"Rangers midfielder Sean Goss swept in his side's third goal from a free-kick"

"Goss continued to be an elegantly effective figure in midfield"

They even have a photo of him striking said free-kick.

£3m and a 15% sell on clause and they can have him.

OR we keep him and actually give him a game....

It is very possible that we might sell one of our current midfield trio in the summer, as they along with our goalkeeper are probably the most valuable assets.
The club has already stated on several occasions that as the parachute money dries up we will have to generate revenue in some way.

So, let's hope we get back a player that our scouts hoped we thought we were buying!

Good on him either way he’s gonna be playing for Rangers next season.

The loan agreement, as it stood at the time, was specific in adding a clause that it was to be a loan only deal with NO prospect of turning into a permanent transfer. This could obviously change but it at least gives us a bit of a whip hand in the transfer dealings.

But Glasgow Rangers don't have any money. They're as skint as we are.

Very true N22. I doubt Celtic would come in for him but you never know. Old firm derby live on Sky next weekend perhaps we should take a look at Sean ourselves.

How about a straight swap for James Tavernier ? A quality full back ☺

Makes a nice change to see us talking about getting money for some of our squad rather than paying them big money to walk away!

Maybe also an indicator that the championship is not a straightforward league for players to adjust into.

Not many teams in the top half who have not splashed out or benefit from a squad coming out of the Premier League and parachute payments.

Surely it's more that the Scottish Prem is a piece of piss if you've got anything at all about you? Clint Hill was about on his last legs when he crossed the border, and even he flourished. Though it's a bit of an embarrassment to our club that we brought in Goss, and then apparently told him we couldn't accommodate him in the first team - which would have left me pretty sick if I were him. But if we semi-fluke a decent fee for him, or there's a tempting player-exchange that could come to fruition, it does indeed look like a trend-bucking win-win for the two Rangers.
