Ingram recalled. Smithies off?
See Ingram has been recalled. Does that mean smithies is off?

The problem with quotations on the internet is, you don't know whether they're accurate. - Abraham Lincoln

He let in 30 goals in 20 games whilst at Northampton, did he come back with a reported bad back.

That's a relief. Sound plan to get each of them half a season of first team football each.QPR_John wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2018 4:33 pmSeemed that way at first but Lumley gone to Blackpool on loanqprhoops81 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2018 4:31 pmSee Ingram has been recalled. Does that mean smithies is off?

Re: Ingram recalled. Smithies off?
i am not sure it was a recall. Northampton signed a new keeper so Ingram was surplus to their requirements

Re: Ingram recalled. Smithies off?
They signed another keeper due to a clause in Ingram's contract.

Is Ingram any good though? On the rare chances he's had at QPR (in the cups) we haven't done well.

Re: Ingram recalled. Smithies off?
It's the whole club that doesn't do well in the cups. Not just Ingram.
"Football is the love of form. A spectacle that scarcely leaves a trace in the memory and does not enrich or impoverish knowledge. This is its appeal : it is exciting and empty." Mario Vargas Llosa

Had it on good authority from there family’s mouths that both Scowen & Smithies are very happy at the club, now obviously money & premier league can soon change that but the fact that they are happy in the capital & at qpr is a bonus.

Good to hear I think the same can be said for Scowen & Freeman, both are very much appreciated on & off the pitch at QPR, means a lot to be settled & feel appreciated it reflects in there football.dm wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 5:17 pmAccording to this Smithies is indeed happy at QPR: https://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/f ... t-14142129
