Brentford losing at home to League Two Notts County; Villa now doing likewise to Peterborough. Some kind of doleful context if nothing else, I suppose. :(

Both Villa and Brentford field their 2nd string. What is our excuse 🤔

Another pathetic FA Cup exit, I blame the hierarchy, every manager we've had has been crap in the Cup so it's got to run deeper than just that. PATHETIC!

Wow, just wow! We play 97 minutes against a team in the lower drudgery of League One, with a virtually full strength team/squad, 15 goal attempts, and a pre-match clarion call from the manager . . . and still lose.

I guess we're just cursed. Let's just take to the field in clown hats for our next Cup match, pay the fans to turn up, and record a tragicomedy record ('We've all given up/on the FA Cup'), with Les rapping a verse or two and guest harmonies from Neil Warnock. What a club! aniclap aniclap aniclap aniclap aniclap aniclap

I've said it before - our first eleven is L1 bar one or two. No surprise to me today that a club that has existed for less than 20 years, would show more appetite for a once proud completion. Our players and club have shown nothing but disdain for it for too long now. Can't blame the manager today.

Would like to hear from people at the game. Looked a half decent team, took it seriously, but still didn’t score.

Will be interested to hear Ollie’s take on it.

Slightly surprised at this result as MK Dons are struggling in a division below us.

Ollie the motivator couldn't get the best from a virtually full strength team, seems he was out motivated.

Obligatory injury.

Nearly a week in to the transfer window and no done deals announced.

Happy days

Ollie played a strong team.... I won't have a go for that...

Losing against the run of the play happens...

What was the crowd today?

I bet it was affected due to the Brentford league cup match.... We got a game on the 28th or did our league opponents win?
2018/2019.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

I don’t give a sh*t about his take on it unkess he says ‘I’m pretty shit and actually don’t deserve to be here so I will just pee off’. Other than that never mind, it will be full of gutted, gave it their all, bad luck, let’s focus on the league etc.

I'm not expecting anything from the transfer market except 'outs', Uncle Tony's superb financial management has seen to that aniclap

We couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo today.

By the way I'm not blaming Smyth or Eze, both have a lot more to offer than Washington/Sylla
so no problems with the players themselves.

You've gotta question the manager-ship of the club in general - this is beyond a joke now!
