No idea why Cousins is still at wingback, especially when he's ideal for replacing Luongo in the middle. No strikers on the bench, does Sylla have a knock or is it a sign he might be off? Worrying if so.

Oteh is a striker isn't he?

I believe so. Ex Spurs.

That starting 11 should be good enough. It seems finally we are taking the competition seriously.

Think there is a fair balance of first team regulars to give Chair and Smyth a reasonable chance of playing in a strong starting line up - Eze and Oteh both good options to come off the bench along with the likes of Wzsolek and Osayi-Samuel.

Also chance for Hall or Lynch to get game time from the bench too.

Feeling good about this.

Hardly worrying if Sylla is off, he can join Washington in the departure lounge. Both have been given plenty of opportunities, both have failed. Washington is not Championship standard and Sylla is far too lightweight.

Sylla is way, way too lazy, looking at him you'd think he's cover the ground quickly,
in reality he moves like a donkey, so always 2nd to any loose play.

So nice to see some positive comments in what essentially is the match thread. From the sound of things Sylla and Washington are having mares.

OK something positive, we're at last bringing on younger strikers at long last.

The lambasting of Sylla and Washington is merited, they have been terrible to watch
and do not score any goals, if they were good then the comments would also be good.

... stop press - looks like another poor performance from the team today.

Let’s hope the injury to Baptiste isn’t serious

It's goals like that which compromises Holloway's position and gives the knockers like
myself ammunition, carrying this form against Burton will put him under pressure again.

Who else put money on us losing today?

What is it with us and the FA Cup.

Putting some money on is the only way to compensate for the dismal results.

A shame after the great result last week.

Still, we bounced back then - maybe Holloway can inspire something today.

The only good news is that Hughes at Stoke should get the bullet after today's result.

What result? They're still playing.
