It sounds like a Michael Nyman (big QPR fan by the way) composition (repetitive beat), it works perfectly with him
but not if the crap that we have to endure is continuous, losses and reversals are expected, this kind
of grim epiphany isn't on, you'll see how Stoke deal with this.

Eh? If we couldn't hit said threshold with said instrument, how is that not (partly if not mostly) the players' fault?

We couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo today.

By the way I'm not blaming Smyth or Eze, both have a lot more to offer than Washington/Sylla
so no problems with the players themselves.

You've gotta question the manager-ship of the club in general - this is beyond a joke now!

no, let’s all have a jolly nice dance and pretend nothing has happened. Do you sniff glue or something? Just what the hell is wrong with you if you can’t see reaults like this rightfully upsets people?

Ahhhh, so blame should be apportioned? Or is this a minor blip on the way to our end game?

Would like to hear from people at the game. Looked a half decent team, took it seriously, but still didn’t score.

Will be interested to hear Ollie’s take on it.
I was at the game...apart from their one shot that hit the post in the first half we pretty much dominated the game but unfortunately just couldn't score! I can't fault the effort of the players. Holloway pretty much played a full strength team apart from Luongo so much better than the lineup against Brentford in the cup.

Unfortunately instead of just leattig the ball go out of play, Scowan tried to keep it in but unfortunately their player ran onto it and we conceded against the run of play.

I liked the look of Eze when he came on and I think he could be a potential regular next season if he continues to develop.

Their goalkeeper was timewasting in the first half and finally got a yellow in 2nd half stoppage time! 😒

We huffed and puffed but just couldn't get the equaliser we deserved...back to the league!

The ref was a complete joke! I think people will agree with that at the very least!

2nd string Manager?
Not the greatest fan of the manager but this goes much deeper. There seems to be a culture at the club regarding the FA cup and it is picked up by the players even if subconsciously.

Thanks, that’s sort of what I needed to hear. Crap result, and the normal frustration ensues, but we put out a strong team, tried our best but still lost. It happens, I’m not happy about it, but it doesn’t sound like there’s much else we could have done.

It does say a lot about the quality of the squad though, when we get knocked out at home by a struggling L1 team.

Trying to find positives, I’m glad some of the younger players are being given a chance, but that said I thought we’d have enough to beat them today.

Not sure I can add much to that, we know our resources are going to be limited for a long time to come, so better hope some of the youngsters coming through can mae the grade!

I too was at the game, more’s the pity.

Warnock was sacked for drawing away to them the year after giving us our best season in decades. Yet Uncle Bungle will keep that failure of a manager come rain or shine.

Shocking display as you’d expect from a team whose only tactic is to hoof the ball/fire long throw-ins at the static lump up front.

I was there in the Lower Loft.
Don't think their keeper had to make a save today.
That team should've been good enough to win easily....but Cousins and Chair just totally ineffective: Wzolek and Eze should've started.
Smyth and Freeman tried hard
Smith was very poor and ineffective against a L1 defence: never seems to get any power into his headers
Hard to say who our best player was
overall very disappointing against a weak team
