Old Oak Common Update.............
It looks like things may be starting to move, although it looks as if the new stadium will be funded by the profits from building the development.
Would appear to be quite some years away yet.

Cynical. The man loves the club. If you cut him, he'd bleed blue and white. And red, obviously.
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

Well, if it's stalled for a decade at least he'll be around to pay the FFP penalty. Off on a bit of a tangent, they use a term like affordable to describe the housing when all that means is that the price will be no more than 80% of the market value in the area. Still not affordable for most even with mortgage rates so low.dm wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2018 12:51 pmStop Press. Tony's not happy: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/ ... 32716.html

Come on let's have a bit of reality here. Doubt there are many owners who love the club they own and are prepared to throw money at it without a chance of getting it back. The owners of our club are no different. The "badge kissing" is just for show we all know it why it surprises you I cannot understand

I wasn't calling TF a cynic. It was an ironic reference to the previous post.
You're not from Barcelona by any chance, are you ?

I'm actually quite encouraged by this. I was under the impression that TF and QPR had abandoned OOC. We always knew it was going to take a long time before it ever happened - now I might live long enough to get a ST in the new stadium

Unless you are currently about eight years old I wouldn’t get your hopes up....

The club has bought a few parcels of land at Old Oak and are able to build housing there. Hopefully the money made will go into the club!
Unfortunately the club does not own a piece of land large enough for a football stadium at Old Oak.

Between my finger and my thumb the squat pen rests. I'll dig with it.
