Yes seems a strange move. Maybe we have moved from stacking up midfielders to the same with wingers.

Cheers, you don't get many games like that.
Maybe one step closer to when I started watching games as a mere lad in 1979 when both City and the Rs were in the top division and, at that age, you think they always would be. Oh well.
QPR are my second team - not many Bristol City fans can say that!

Linked with Danny Newton from Stevenage. 26yo Striker. Came through the Jamie Vardy V9 academy.
Linked with Gavin Whyte - 22yo Winger from Northern Ireland Club Crusaders.

It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

Hardly dm but I have frequented over the years and come to this conclusion. Last time I was in there, which has to be about seven years ago, I bought a couple of steaks for dinner, they were actually average supermarket price and good quality. I was peckish so bought a £3.50 scotch egg to munch on the train home. The pork meat had gristle in it and there was still shell on the egg. I did write to complain and they sent me an apology with a £16 bottle of white wine that was £5 everywhere else. Same applies to my experiences in Harrods Food Hall as well. Harrods has it's uses, I will sometimes look to see what they are selling if I need something like towels for instance and then go and find what they sell cheaper elsewhere. Champagne quality at beer prices can be achieved.

I like Borough Market which, although being pricey and a bit 'hipster', usually hits the spot quality wise and often has different and unusual items.Rbee wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2018 6:09 pmHardly dm but I have frequented over the years and come to this conclusion. Agree on Borough Market dm and I think the competition around there pushes quality up, Harrods and Fortnums have no competition so get lazy I think. Both had very good looking sandwich making departments but I am not paying their prices.
Lala, you are spending £15 a week on meal deals? Get a decent loaf for £1.50, pack of butter and make your own! Don't count me in your 'other half!' Being a Londoner you are going to pop into Harrods and Fortnums for a nose, people watch and occasionally buy something. I no longer live in London so no longer have the time or desire to visit such places. Harrods sales were often excellent, posh shower gels and smellies etc for peanuts, not anymore. Last time I was in Harrods, again about seven years ago, Marcel Desailly was in there buying watches and jewellery. Michael Caine was wandering around the food hall.
To keep this 'on topic' I did ask Desailly if he had ever considered signing for the superhoops.
