Twitter rumours saying we're in for Tom Naylor from Burton.
He's a 26yo midfielder/defender (CB or RB) so maybe playing a holding role?
That’ll get the juices flowing amongst fans.
Neither did Scowen.

Given that Scowen, Freeman, Baptiste, Smith have all.come in during Holloway's transfer window's and positively contributed, I am happy to see what other signings come in.

Goss may still come good and if he can secure some decent game time with Rangers - possibly better place to develop his game rather than league 2.

If Naylor can fill that right side wing back role and cover Scowen as an option, then sounds a positive addition.

Hope we steer clear of Peterborough for signings - no value for money there.

Naylor's scored 3 goals in their last 6 games from CDM. At that rate he's more prolific than our entire strike force.

I was pretty happy about the Scowen signing, it was definitely a position we needed to fill. I don't know much about Naylor but given the players we've got, it doesn't seem like a position we really need to fill. (Not least as i don't personally feel we should persevere with wingbacks).

Apparently we have made a bid for Tom Bradshaw at Barnsley can’t see us spending any money this window maybe a few loans or a freebie

This must be the quietest transfer window I can remember. Normally there's someone at the club, whether it be the manager', Les, TF etc making noises that we are looking to strengthen etc. But this year Ive heard nothing. They say silence is golden but it's also worrying.

Does that mean Holloway has been told there will be no signings and if he can't work with what he has got then he'll have to bring the kids in - which explains why Washington and Sylla have been dropped (unless injured?)

Linked with David Cotterill from Brum. 30yo Winger.
Why did he leave Brum by mutual consent? We dont need any other troubled souls.

He's a very decent winger with a decent attitude who would get into most Championship teams (maybe not Wolves though!).

Brum have had their managerial changes and the current incumbent, Steve Cotterill, played a rigid 5-3-2 when at City (with great success in L1, much less so in the Champ) so if he's sticking to that then there's no place for DC.

We (Bristol City) had him on loan end of last season and he was still good (youth product before a £2m move).

I have a reasonable record on this having said that you would find Luke Freeman to be excellent but that, for all his occasional flashes of brilliance, you would regret signing JET.
QPR are my second team - not many Bristol City fans can say that!

Thanks Bristol. Strange that we're looking at a winger though as we have a shedload here already but don't actually use any of 'em !

Great display by your boys last night, by the way.
