Cracking goal by Paul Smyth well done young man it took our appalling clueless manager 4 months to give him a go maybe now he will realise there is life without mackie

Obviously someone had to turn a win and a young debutantes winning goal into a negative.

Yeah f*ck it, we only need one striker. Nice to get the chance to put the boot in.
Sylla and Washington have done bugger all all season so in a sense you're right,
bringing on Sylla would have made no sense!

And you are right we need more than 1 striker, but Washington/Sylla/Smith don't even
add up to one do they.

Yep: people slag off Smith (a couple of pearls of wisdom on this thread) but he's alright if we play to his strengths. 6 goals so far this season and a fair few assists I reckon.

Now watch the mouth breathers demand he start every game and slag him off after he hasn't scored in 3.
Unfortunately you are correct. There are many reasons why you don't want to start a, just, 20 year old with very little experience. Today it paid off and it wouldn't be a bad idea for him to start against Burton and MK Dons especially if he continues to start with Matt Smith but he has to be slowly introduced to first team football. Just look at Ryan Manning.

It hurt Patrick, nah funnily enough watching him in the opposing dugout loosing his nut made me hate him for 90mins, it hurt to see him in there dugout but when he started chucking his toys out I thought have it Warnock you wanker, to top it off junior getting a goal disallowed love it.

Great game great game worth freezing my legs off for.

Wow, a Lala post that isn’t slagging somebody off, must have been a good game.
If you had a million Shakespeares, could they write like a monkey?

Was not at the game today, decided with the cold I've had since Christmas not to risk pneumonia, and have just watched highlights on Sky. Why was there any confusion between Lino and referee re thier offside "goal" did not seem any question to me.

I think the suggestion is that the ball was actually played by Scowen. Some merit if you look at the replays

Take your point after watching again. But if the linesman waved he did not think Scowen touched the ball so why the long delay. Almost as if the ref was pleading with him to change his mind🙂
