How long does Holloway have?

Post by nic » Sat Dec 09, 2017 5:16 pm

Just to be clear, I like him and I would be sad to see him sacked. But it seems to me that he can’t have more than one or two games left if current form and results continue. We are now firmly in a relegation scrap and a number of sides above us in the table have spent less money so there are no excuses. We are now playing the defence and midfield he helped to recruit and has selected week in week out and it is not working in either case. I am not saying it is all his fault, or that there are any easy answers, but I can’t see him making it last Christmas if things don’t get better.

I doubt he's going anywhere soon. Who else would want to replace him that could do any better?

How about Grayson?

Otherwise Bircham out and try and get Maclaren for a bit.

The truth is when IH starts losing he really seems to have no answer . As i said in a post last week he is fine when things are going well but he has proved over and over he cannot halt a slide.

look out of your window, most likely anyone you see walking out there on the streets in the next 24 hours would do a better job.

You're quite right. Let's face it we scored a goal and in a lot of games that would have been enough to win. Hardly Holloways fault that Leeds stooped to the level of scoring three goals

Alright then. Name me three managers who'd not just be prepared to replace Ollie but would do a better job?

Plenty that would be up for the job, but the answer to your second question is impossible to answer.

Not sure anyone would make a great deal of difference, leaky defence @ best when fit, strikers that don't score.

Barnsley and Burton will be relegated from the Skybet championship this season, that is a fact!

As for the third team only the man above knows that.

I have no idea the talents of the managers likely to come to us I follow football as an entertainment and follow Rangers as a faith. The point is I am not a professional in the game so if that excludes me from criticising those in the game then debate, one of the joys of the game, becomes very difficult.

I think the quote was made with a hint of sarcasm

That's pretty shocking, even by your standards. Do you not know what her 'football team' did?
