It is worrying that Holloway does not consider any of the youth players good enough despite the crippling injuries to the senior defenders. Brian Clough always said that if, for instance, his regular left back was injured he would rather play someone out of position to cover if the reserve left back wasn’t up to standard. Clough of course had better players to switch around. If we can maintain our current league position until the likes of Ned come back it will be relatively plain sailing.

And I'm with him about not leaving early tbh. Support is a mutual thing.
Agreed. It seemed as if a good two-thirds of our support had gone home early. Shame they missed a great finish.

You're not the only one considering this, I like Holloway but this isn't a good sign seeing our p!ss-poor
performances recently.

Nowhere near that really, given they count season ticket holders whether they turn up or not. Plenty of empty seats in the upper tier of the away end too.

But as BG says, Monday night, live on Sky, four weeks before Christmas. No great surprise.

Dean Smith, talk about a sore 'loser'...

Brentford manager Dean Smith told BBC Radio London:

"Officials didn't do their jobs and we didn't do our jobs in the penalty box.

"There was a clear foul on Ollie Watkins in the middle of the pitch and it doesn't get given. We switched off from the short corner and Daniel Bentley should do better.

"Then they win the ball from the kick-off and Romaine Sawyers pulls out of a challenge and gets a foul given against him. I feel frustrated and aggrieved.

"We've dropped two points because of the officials."
Question everything.

Disagree. Passionate. After the finish he had every right to say it.
I think the ones that left early are very offended

I'm a big Holloway fan, and some of the stick he's received on social media prior to tonight was well OTT for me.

That said, I think his comments tonight were badly misplaced - and I say that as one of the fans that stayed till the very end.

He's a passionate man that says it exactly how it is. But he will have made enemies of some of the supporters that at least showed up tonight, many, many others didn't even bother to do that much.

Not his finest moment by any stretch.

Disgraceful and dig at fans for leaving unacceptable. Did not like that tone at all
Dickhead! Supporters' job is to support. Get over yourself. The tedious people who left early are twats, and should be ashamed. Personally, I'd lock 'em out of HQ.
