If Brentford out play us (again), and/or defeat us too easily, much as I like Ian and want him to succeed, that's a bit of writing on the Loftus Road wall for me.
But it's about what could have been expected pre season, we spent zilch. the only gripe I have is the personnel & formation he keeps playing, he doesn't seem to learn.

But there isn't anyone I can think of that is gonna come in & make that much of a difference.

You get what you pay for check Derby's villa's & alike net spend over the last three years, then check the table, it's all relative.
Is the correct answer. We haven't been mullered which I feared - so a very small positive there. We have a squad that is high in numbers but low in quality. Need to trim it and get rid of those who will never be up for it in this league.
We have a handful of players that are above average for this division, that won't get you far.

Big money being spent in the championship & none of it is coming from W12.

Atleast Ollie gives a shite I'd rather lose with someone who cares even if he is showing signs of being inept.

Can't see him being under pressure just yet - but he can't afford another six or seven losing streak though. Problem is, I can't see how changing the manager will turn a lot of these players into something they are not.
It won't, we didn't strengthen we have injury's & we have a manager that is struggling to prepare a team & get tactics right.

But as you say not a lot the next man is gonna do, I expected a lower bottom half finish & me view hasn't changed.
Maybe the next man, whenever that might be, might be able to prepare a team and get tactics right.

We’re building for the future. If we can keep hold of our better players (a big if admittedly) and keep acquiring hungry young players over time we’ll be alright. We have to avoid relegation and look like we’re headed in the right direction but we’re going to lose a lot for a while and I’m ok with that provided we’re somewhere in mid table

Bloody Brentford couldn't even do us a good turn by beating Burton. In fact, they're nowhere near as good as in the past couple of seasons. Perhaps we can get our revenge next Monday.

That was just heartbreaking to watch throughout one shot in 90 minutes. No positives at all. I can’t see any wins in the next 3 games I’m afraid.

You're deluded.

Is that what you, and a few others, said last November and the November before that? Maybe it's not quite that simple?

There have been a quite a few criticisms of Holloway on here this evening but you choose to reply to me. I feel quite humble

A mere eight points from a play off place, what’s wrong with you lot?

This result was as predictable as day following night.

Indeed.

And I'm kinda getting the same feeling for the Brentford game.

The Brentford game could be the start of a six match winning run that could take the Superhoops to the fringe of the playoffs by Christmas.

I'll take that as delicious irony :!:

I may have missed it, but I didn't see many others suggesting that he should go. A solution that we were told would solve our problems last year, and the year before that.
