...reading on FB that Charlie might come back on January.....
well....hopefully not only a gossip...if he could get back to his scoring standard it might help climbing up the league...

Can't see this being remotely likely. Would be on a storming salary and have far better options.

GWL's 'story' on this seems to me speculation of Alice-in-Wonderland proportions - his 2nd coming is about as likely as the Nazarene rematerialising on a bike on Bloemfontein Road this Xmas. (Not helped by their risible 'report' that Wigan want Perch back on loan since he's 'warming the bench' - er, no he's not, he's injured!)

Just another one that left the club & hasn't exactly flourished.

He is 3/1 on to stay and 8/1 to come to us. That's the 'story'.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

Leicester were 5000/1 to win the league.

Thanks for the tip, Giorgio.

Welcome back Charlie.

Personally, I think he'll do a great job at right back.

I was amazed to find out that Matt Phillips is now on £100k+ pw
Given Charlies low transfer fee, I'd imagine his salary is higher than that.

Unless Southampton were to pay 80% of his wages during the loan, I'd imagine this was a non-starter...
Also, I don't see Charlie wanting to step down to the Championship.

If he loaned anywhere, it would probably be in the Premier League.
--Back to Burnley, or even Crystal Palace if they are still struggling...

I'd be amazed if Phillips was on that, gobsmacked.

Let's hope Harry Kane doesn't read this then.
