Noticed both goals were scored from withdrawn positions. Thought he was an out and out striker but could be good news if he plays behind the front two as we don't really have a ready made replacement for Freeman.

I've just noticed it was one with each foot. Not bad.

No attacking midfielder. Although seems to look to get quite close to the strikers and will generally look to get into goal scoring positions in the box when the ball is wide so elements of a second striker. This is all based on a few friendlies though. Without wanting to incite hyperbole, he seems to try and play a similar role to the one Dele Alli occupies for Spurs, although i'm not for a moment suggesting he's as good. Again this based on only seeing a small amount of him.

Went to see the Wycombe match on Saturday. Eze wasn't in the game very much and seemed to jog through it as though it was a training exercise but when he got on the ball was clearly a class above anyone else on the pitch.

Sounds like he had a cracking match yesterday. It will be interesting whether he gets recalled in January or is left there to flourish ready for next season.

*edit. A couple of comments from their matchday thread too.

"From the sublime to the ridiculous...Eze's second half display was one of the best individual attacking performances I've ever seen at AP. Our defending, however..."

HCblue
"Eze brilliant - just brilliant. How did QPR ever let him go out on loan?! The "foul" on him for their third is given 100% of the time."
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.

Eze will be coming back to us in January as his loan agreement at Wycombe ends on 01.01.18. Whether or not we'll keep him him with us for the rest of the season will probably be determined by injuries and/or any new signings.
