Well ain't that swell........I don't know why they just don't call it the Sky Championship Midweek League and let us forget about football. At least if we get relegated we can more or less forget about Sky.
As I'm away from home I watched my first ever Sky match last week (v Fulham). The commentators were like parents commenting on their kids playing in a playground. And of course we lost as usual. A pox on Sky and all who sail in her.

Annoying. But it isn't sky that makes us lose games.

We are, of course likely to have any of the Saturday matches against the likes of Leeds, Wolves etc moved for the armchair viewers. Have Sky ever moved a match that was already scheduled for midweek. Say for instance a Tuesday game moved to Friday or whatever.....I really though we'd be left alone this season. I think Fulham only had 2 Saturday games switched last season.

Can't the EFL resist ? I mean, is a Monday night fixture between 20th placed QPR against 19th placed Brentford in the Championship really going to get Sky subscriptions rocketing ?
Come on you Sooopa ........

At least it should please the Bees supporter on here knowing that his team will pick up 3 points at our expense.

Do you get the feeling a Chelsea fan is selecting Sky's Championship fixtures?

It's not, but i guess in the context of quotas and filling schedules it's got more to it as a local derby than many of the alternative turgid fixtures. How much do we get paid per televised game?old pauline wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 3:32 pmCan't the EFL resist ? Around £500k, from what I recall, but could well be wrong.

I agree It's a pain to see games moved - but that's a decent chunk of cash to the club.

As it's a guaranteed three points to Brentford & therefor Esox won't be attending he would like to donate his ticket to someone less fortunate who can't usually afford to attend.
Lovely gesture Esox.

Unlike you I will be going to all the home games this season. Not just the Brentford ones.

Is that with all your mates from loft for words that agree with you every week
Oh by the way admiring a club for the way they do business & run there outfit is no crime, I know your a little sensitive with any criticism aimed at Qpr but we could learn a thing or two from Brentford, they're a lovely club seriously maybe you should pop along there one day and take in a game.

This is still not listed on the Sky schedule. A glimmer of hope that someone has got their wires crossed ?
