We've scored in 9 of the 10 games and conceded in 8 of the 10 games we've played this season so I think we'll see goals today.

And, with the state of our defence at the moment, I think a 'we'll score more than you' approach to the game is probably needed.

I read at the beginning of the week that Cousins might be available today, not sure if that’s still the case. He was expected to be training as normal all week.

Have a feeling that "The President" is going to find the net today.

Anyone have an update on how we are playing?

According to the commentary we are lacking something today and Burton are easily snuffing out our attacks.

We are currently playing 4-2-4

We played well and were on the front foot but still lack quality up front.
A lot of effort was put in today but well done Burton who matched our effort defending.

Poor result but ok performance. Another suggestion that we will be mid table at best. Still in need of a creative force and a forward - the two hardest things to find.

High balls to two small forwards hardly made life difficult for Burton but then I'm not a great manager so maybe I missed something

spot on - sadly just more evidence that Washington just doesn't cut it at this level.

I'm not a fan of Jamie who I have always thought is a bit limited but at least his physical presence gave the Burton defenders something to do.

Making changes at half time was good in principle but not enough to alleviate the boredom generated by the lack of a plan and a poor performance when in possession.
This time we'll get it right - just believe!

Ah, but mere mortals like you and I cannot expect to understand the complex theories of a strategist par excellence like Mr Holloway, John.

I have no idea who will start but I would think Wheeler has a shout after last week.
Seems fair, I'd like to see Osayi-Samuel get a run out soon. He looks like he's got the sort of pace to really trouble defenders at this level. Nothing against Lua Lua, but he doesn't look like a match winner and i'd rather see us invest game time in the players we've signed permanently.
Could anyone please let me know how he got on Sat, I see he came on around half time.

Cheers.

I'd say Osayi-Samuel looked promising. I thought he was mainly a speedster but his touch was good and he looked like he wanted to take is full back on.

I'm not sure LM is his favoured position as he's right footed.
