I had planned to be at the game, until my mate Rod (occasional poster on this board) decided to get married - yesterday was the stag do, and next week the main event.

So, having missed the game and followed events on Sky Sports - it seems we put in a shift, and considering the injuries at the back ... it wasn't the horror show it could have been. Scoring two goals away from home is a real positive too.

But, where were Washington and Scowen? Neither even on the bench, more injuries?

Also, with Ned out for possibly a lengthy spell, who has picked up the captain's arm band?

I will be at Barnsley for the next away game.
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

Remember:
Growing old is inevitable.
Growing up is optional.

Both Washington and Scowen are injured but apparently may be back for next Saturday's match.

Onuoha's out for 3 months with a hamstring injury.

Luongo was handed the captain's armband.

He's no captain! you never see him shouting and screaming at his team mates and pointing his fingers or... or... blowup
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.
