Holloway above Sexton, Venables and Warnock? We all see it differently I suppose. I don't think Jago wanted to sell Marsh - I think Jim G decided that one.

Holloway came into...us in administration/9 fit players for start of season Carlisle and Langley both cruciate injuries from same game at Fulham, from that Holloway built a team and gave us back our pride and passion albeit it that mad week lost to V Motors on the Tues and Cardiff 0-4 on the Friday!! (remember Earnshaw?)

I attended both games, although not heart breaking & I actually look back on it with a smile V Motors has got to be lowest its ever got.

He'd probably be on my list of the worst 5 - just for presiding over the most scandalous lack of professionalism and preparation of any club Wembley finalists in living memory.

Manager Jim Smith, infamously, said: "Talking of proud moments, when I led QPR out at Wembley for the 1986 Milk Cup Final, I felt immensely proud that my team had made it – Oxford not QPR. We were in the tunnel for an age before the game and there was more banter between me and the Oxford lads than my current team – I knew them a lot better than my own lads. I couldn’t really lose that day. People say I looked dejected and shell-shocked, but the reality was that my team had won the Cup, with the greatest respect to Maurice Evans and I couldn’t celebrate with them, for obvious reasons. It was a bit like getting married and divorced all in one day.”

And, if you want the textual support, there it is! Jim Smith is/was a first rate c*nt.

Ron Phillips has since alleged the Rangers team was drugged by an over-dose of sleeping pills for 'pre-match nerves'. I do suspect foul play, and I imagine Smith may have been involved, though we'll now never know.

I remember thinking that they looked nervous when they came out from the tunnel, on to the pitch.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.
