Finished 1-1. Who wouldn't have taken that before the game? Very encouraging commentary. Well done Ollie and the lads.

Yep. Fully agree with that, if we had been offered 4 points after our first four games we would have jumped at it.

And not forgetting a cup win too. Am I really writing this?

Very good start against two top six teams from last season.

It's about improvement.

If we better our corresponding fixtures from last season throughout the season, I'll be happy.

Last year we drew at home to Reading and lost away at Wednesday. That puts us 3 points better off than last year. I'll take that.

Seemingly more cohesion and direction with the team, and the performances are worthy of getting points home and away - long may it continue and hope the players continue to progress as a group.

Wondered if the new players were flown out to Spain to take in the "hills" - hope so given the benefit the team sees to have had from that training camp 😁

We shouldn't have too much trouble improving on last year's away match at Norwich either!

An excellent start to the season indeed. We still have Hall to come back and further ahead Cousins and even possibly Caulker. Hull will be stern opposition but we go into the game with a full head of steam. I hope there is nothing going on behind the scenes that would lead to Smithies departure.

Looking at these oddly filmed/framed highlights, it seems like a draw was a fair result from a tough game either side could have won. Terrible goal from our defensive point of view (I can't see who missed the ball - was it Ned again?), and Lua Lua should have scored late on. Otherwise, some good things, it seems, mixed in with a few typically Champish not so pretty things. I think we'll be more pleased than them tonight, though.

However, we really can't complain too much about our start, which has certainly exceeded most expectations. A testimony to the work that's gone in over the summer, Olly's preparation, and the unity of the squad.

Onward and upward.

Just checked the wider frame Sky highlights, and Ned it was!

So that's three bad errors in three games, and this time it did cost us a goal.

Is he getting old or just a neuron or two short of a fully concentrating brain?
