Remy is apparently moving from chelsea this summer i hope we have a sell on clause on his contract and we get a % of the signing fee.

Can anyone confirm if he has one, any money towards the kitty will be more than welcome.

Didn't he have a release clause in his deal when Chelsea signed him?

Would be very surprised if we had any sell-on as part of the deal...

Must be suffering from wood poisoning - all those splinters up his arse. Glory hunting ****.

He went on loan to Palace then got injured.

I'd be amazed if we have a sell on. If he can get fit, he'll make a great signing for someone.

If you'd asked before I read this I wouldn't have been able to tell what he was doing now. So he's still at Chelsea then. Blimey what a waste of a talent.

He's played around 60 games in 4 years since he toddled off to The Toon. Dismal!

As we know, he'd rip it up at this level, or probably any level - he's still averaged 1 goal in 3 during that painfully lean appearance record. If no Prem side comes in for him, perhaps a cheekier-than-cheeky offer of £20k a week, take it or leave it, with an incentivised contract in the event of a goal feast? I'd say he'd easily grab 25 onion bag-ettes, and we'd be potential playoff contenders at the very least.

Unfortunately, he'll probably end up at WBA, or somewhere in Turkey or China. aniwall

Quite common story in modern football.

The choice between money vs playing and doing your job/sport.

Going to a rich club, where you can warm the bench or the seat in the stand takes money, but can halt your career.

Do they mind ? It looks not....enough they load their current account...

I was disappointed we never saw more of him at Rangers - great finisher and capable of that extra bit special - bit too painful to think we had both him and Adel in our ranks at the same time and we couldn't build the basis of a decent side around them.

Being big fish in our little pond perhaps brings out personality traits that are less easily maleable. Undoubted some of the best talent we've enjoyed in years but for a club of our stature everything would have to be in place to take advantage of the potential. Unfortunately we remain a basket case of a note.
Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.

Not a bad side footer.

Newcastle fans very keen to have Remy back.

I think he would have been held in higher regard here if he had not have moved to those down the road. A very good player at a time filled with underwhelming signings
