It you listen to Ollie's latest interview on the official site he hints very strongly about his desire to get Caulker involved... Seems those higher up want rid of him though.
He was talking about Bowler, not Caulker. Ariel was the one he sounded like he wanted to keep.
Personally I'd be happy if Caulker stayed at heavily reduced wages.

He specifically mentioned Bowler.

He then went on to say about hoping he could use someone to help out defensively.... Sure it was Caulker he was referring to.

The same Kpekawa who's transfer under JFH had fans up in arms?

IIRC he had a good spell there before. Barnsley fans were scathing of him.

Dave Mc reckons Caulker looks increasingly likely to join Celtic: http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/stev ... e-17072017

Disappointing it would be free though.

Will free up a small fortune in wages, imperative that we include a transfer clause!!!

Celtic is a shop window for the premier league, one storming season & he could get a second chance in the prem.

Assombalonga signs for Boro in apparent £15 million deal - Forest with some cash now - will we see the links with Bidwell and Luongo to Forest materialise into bids?

....Italian full back available....previous World Champion 2006...

Cristian Zaccardo, born 21 December 1981) is an Italian footballer who plays as a centre back for Vicenza on loan from Serie B club Carpi, although he is also capable of playing as a full-back or in midfield. He began his club career with Italian club Bologna in 2000, and remained with the club until 2004, aside from a loan spell with Spezia. He subsequently moved to Palermo, where he came to prominence during his four seasons at the club. In 2008, he moved to German club VfL Wolfsburg for a season, where he won the 2008–09 Bundesliga title. He returend to Italy the following season, joining Parma, and in 2013 he moved to Milan, before joining Carpi in 2015. At international level, he represented the Italy national football team on 17 occasions between 2004 and 2007, scoring a goal; he was a member of the Italian side that won the 2006 FIFA World Cup

Bar an Austin quality striker, for around £30m, I think we have all we need. For £10-15k I don't think we can improve at all.
I don't feel either full back is good enough to keep us out of the bottom half or perhaps worse
Robinson on the left and Perch on the right is going to be better than at least five to seven teams in the Championship. Injuries that put us fielding Bidwell/ Lynch on left and Furlong on the right would be a bit disconcerting.
Robinson has been unable to stay injury free for long enough to give me confidence he will be a regular, perch is not a good enough full back and is in decline. I suppose I am also questioning the scouting which decided JB would be the standard required, there have been quite a few who didn't make it.

I saw that he had, has been any good there. It's not much of a standard. Shame he's so short. I'm not quite sure why Furlong has been written off all of a sudden.

Thought furlong was a bit better than average going forward last season (and certainly better than anyone else we have in that position in that respect).

I thought he was below average defensively.

He's young and I'm sure he'll improve on both fronts. But I don't think he's good enough overall yet. One to keep developing and a useful squad player already.

Not sure why anyone would question the scouting with Bidwell. He had two very solid seasons at Brentford in the Championship before signing for us, and he's only 24, so no reason to believe he is physically on the wane. His confidence looked shot to me the longer the season went on, but it's up to the management team to help him rebuild that and get back to his best again.

Robinson is more than good enough if he stays fit, but I agree that it's quite a big if at the moment. Perch has been a disappointment, but looked a decent signing for a modest fee at the time.

Two divisions in fact. Getting £450k for him looks like quite a shrewd piece of business in retrospect.

Kepkawa was poor. Great business.
