QPR could be interested in a loan move for Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham ahead of the new season

Another ball playing midfielder when we need one who can put a foot in.....

''McLean's favoured position is as a central midfielder, but he can also play as a left midfielder. He has said that he favours playing in the centre because he can get more of the ball and influence play more than when he is on the left. He is a naturally attacking player and when playing in the centre he makes runs to and beyond the striker which adds an extra dimension to his team's play''

Sounds similar to how Luongo seems to play for Aus. Agreed this doesn't sound close to our needs, i wonder if Holloway is looking for another Charlie Adam.

Interesting thought. Is the real one available?
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

According to Dave Mc QPR scouts were at an Aberdeen game but it wasn't McLean they were watching.

My guesses would be Jonny Hayes (LW), Adam Rooney (ST) or Niall McGinn (RW).
All 3 are Irish/Northern Irish, have 10+ goals each them this season and have had exp in the Championship.

Hasn't anybody mentioned to our people that Scottish football (at individual, club and international level) is at an embarrassing all-time low?

Looking for players in Scotland is surely the equivalent of the All Blacks looking for Rugby players in Syria or Finland or UK Cycling looking for riders in and around Athens or Venice.
