I'm scratching my head ...

Post by ZENITH R » Mon Apr 17, 2017 4:18 pm

A month ago we were flying - 5 wins and a draw from 7 games. Then we completely move away from the tactics formation and in some cases the personnel who got those results, with the result that we have lost five games in a row.

I may not have my UEFA coaching badges but even I can see the issues. No width and Pawel Wzsolek who starred in that winning sequence warming the bench.

I still think we'll be OK, and a victory over Forest will seal it, but why give us the fans all this stress?

Birmingham and Forest sweating (I think Blackburn will survive).
Saturday 9th November 1968: QPR V Burnley in the First Division - I saw the Hoops for the first time and my obsession began!

Better watch out for those sparks Zen :D

As has been been said Ollie is experimenting although I don't fully understand the extreme level of experimentation as he sees his players most days of the week. When we lose a few in the summer and sign a few new ones will he have to experiment some more?

For me Wzsolek's form has dipped a little, Lualua injured. I don't understand Sylla's lack of game time.

Let's look forward to next season. We just enjoyed a great transfer window, we are told we have an excellent scouting system in place so next season points to be us doing alright. However as I have said before signing promising youth is great but we need a certain level of experience in the squad, balance. We need to strengthen the defence.

Forest and Birmingham are worse off than us, Birmingham have a tough run in.

It's the mystery of football. That team that played quick incisive passing football have disappeared and a route one lump it side have taken their place. How that happens I don't quite know.

The season can't end soon enough

I hope Olli is getting the answers he is looking for

Today indicate that Petrasso does not have much of a future with us, unless he came off injured ?

Hope the Forest game will calm the nerves

Well, Zola has just resigned. I suspect their fortunes might change.

9% win ratio with the blues, won 2 from 22.

Makes Ollie look like mourinho that record.

Why would you blame Hoos for the current run of defeats?

Because Olly appears to be untouchable?

I blame him for sitting infront of the camera with the other puppet les, making stupid decisions & smiling like it's all ok.

Rip off shirt taking the piss out of the fans, doing the same with the poty dinner & looking stupid coz of it, thought he was supposed to be the nuts, he's done sweet FA and is knicking a living off us.

Definitely a head scratching day....

From the tombola style team pick (another 5 changes) although I assume Ned was injured to not even make the bench...

Petrasso struggled but I doubt much he could do as whatever tactics we had planned in the first half were not working....

Robinson was another seemingly hung out to dry as we didn't play to his strengths either....

The Wednesday goals were gold plated gifts by our defence? Although the freekick was shockingly allowed 10 yards in, in a more dangerous position....

Our goal.... I assume Wednesday expected a freekick but you should always play to the whistle as the officials didn't have good games...

We were better in the second half as we threw caution to the wind AGAIN in an attempt to salvage a point....

The next few weeks could be extremely uncomfortable thanks to Ollie's "experiments" when we weren't totally safe from relegation....

Lose at Brentford and Forest could be a genuine 6 pointer now leaving us looking over our shoulders on the last day of the season if we lose and Blackburn pick up a win or more....
2017/2018.... Keep Calm, no matter the season, we'll follow our team.....

A complete loss of form by the entire team or a team playing with different formations and different instructions
