Lot's of changes again! Maybe some are due to Ollie's reaction to Saturday's performance but it's not a line up to inspire confidence in me.

I guess we'll now see what the defence is like without Nedum in the team

Wednesday were 11-8 to win.
The odds will now shorten, I think.
We can only hope that - whatever the result - something useful will be learnt.
It's simple. Score more goals than they do.

Hmm

Giving Petrasso a run out makes sense (i'd have liked to have seen Eze) but the rest is pretty uninspiring. other than Sylla starting (but pair him with Washington, that's the future surely). Shame we haven't given a young CB a chance rather than play Bidwell out of position. I assume Ned is out due to the cut (or possible concussion concerns?) from Friday?

Between that side and Wednesday really needing a result, i can't see us winning, but hopefully i'm wrong. Come on you Rssss

I hoe Ollie IS learning something with this disspiriting run of defeats. It feels like we took two or three steps forward with our winning run, and now four or five back.

I don't feel too sold on the look of that side either, though am happy enough to have Mackie back in it - albeit presumably as an auxiliary striker (not his strong suit) rather than the winger he is. Might have liked to see Lua Lua started, plus Wszolek. Sylla needs to step to the plate to show us he deserves to displace Smith (9 goals in 30 apps isn't too shabby, though he seems to be specialising in scoring late goals off the bench - it's his all-round game that seems to need more work). Will be interesting to see how Petrasso gets on. A big call for IH to drop the Chief, finally. Is Ravel's absence from even the bench a sign he's unlikely to, uh, sign?

Let's hope the lot of them ram my words down my throat, and really go for an invigorating win. But my money says Rhodes and/or Hooper will be among the goals, and we'll go down 2-3, though not without a fight.

i don't think Onuoha has been dropped and certainly not for tactical reasons.

OK - didn't know about the possible concussion. Perhaps, though, that's part of Ned's problem these days - he's just in too much of a comfort zone.

I don't subscribe to the view he's a weak link or a poor captain tbh. I'd certainly have him ahead of Bidwell and Lynch.

Mackie is that odd type of forward that isn't quite a striker or a winger. Given his age, i'd rather see Washington in the side alongside Sylla, who i rate. It would have been nice to see Goss start. Doesn't really seem like the sort of player you bring on to turn a game. Unless you needed to keep the ball. I think we can assume that Morrison is out of the picture, which is a bit of a nonsense. If he was worth giving a chance the other week, he's worth more than 60 minutes. (unless he's acting the prick)

We gotta hope Blackburn haven't got 3 wins in them, cause I can't see us getting another point this season
