I didn't watch the game tonight.I assume Goss was brought on to help us retain possession and create some opportunities. How did he do?

He's clearly a classy young player with a lovely left foot but he'll need time to get used to first team football.

I think there's a bit of a problem with playing Hall and Goss in the same team as when we're going forward they want to occupy the same areas.

He's dross.

On the plus side Utd have a buy back clause on the lad.

Am I missing something, he's not good enough for them to play Him for a single minute in the first team.

We pay 500k for a lad that has never played a competative game, allow Utd to let us take all the risk see if he sinks or swims & still let them have first shout on him if he turns out to be the next Pogba.

I guess after re signing a player for nearly 100m that they lost on a free, even the tea lady at old Trafford has a buy back clause in her contract.

Have to say that I tend to agree with LaLa.

Haven't seen a decent performance our of him yet. His performance when he came on in the second half was tentative and directionless. Too many stray balls and somehow looked laboured even though he only got 30 mins.

Just another poor performance to add to a woeful team effort and an overall disappointing night.

That was his third outing. Well done to the geniuses who have already written him off.

Not writing him off but not writing home about him either.

Hope he is a success after us paying 500k for him.

I'm shocked that some of you have rubbished this lad after a grand total of 4 sub appearances. How can you write off a player before they've even made the starting 11?

Got a very decent left peg on him and easy an eye for a pass - from the limited game time I have seen from him, likes the crossfire ball switching play to down our left side - our system leaves Bidwell on his own that side - surprised we didn't have pace left side to get at Chris Baird.

Goss will benefit from a pre season I think - thought he was more effective with his passing in his limited time on than our other midfielders overall.

114 minutes of football, including 3 sub appearances, in his first professional appearances and he's already been written off. Brilliant.

Yep alarming when you compare to Darnel Furlong who is also 21yrs old & has made nearly 70 first team pro appearances.

Why would that alarm you? It explains, at least in part, why Furlong is a regular starter for us and Goss isn't. It surely cannot mean he's to be dismissed before his professional career has hardly started.

I'm sure he mean't dross in its positive sense.

As in, "My favourite 80's R&B singer was Luther Van Dross"

First team opportunities are a bit limited at Manure. Has he been on loan anywhere? Let's give the guy a chance. I'm more concerned about Ned who has hundreds of appearances under his belt and still can't pass a ball to one of his team - mates. There are a few more in that category too.after watching last night. Back on the training ground boys.
