Average age of our starting XI against Leeds - encouraging that we're starting to look like a decent team under Ollie and even more encouraging to see the number of young players making an impact at the club

Indeed, and the average age of the first team squad is actually under 25.

I've watched the whole of the Leeds game on Player now and, with the exception of our finishing and some of our crossing, I think it's the best performance this season. We were better than Leeds all over the pitch and there were passages of play when our passing and movement was outstanding.

It seems like only yesterday that most of the team were over thirty. Nowt wrong with a bit of experience of course, but an average of under twenty five is healthier.
